The elastic band usefully stretched out just enough to not be safe for digestion (sometimes stretch bands are tight, and can contribute to reflux); it washes perfectly. I ordered the full length version for the colder weather. It is so comfortable, I’m kind of living in it.

I am now up to 4 pairs. I ordered 2X my size for the slouchy feel. Comfortable waistband allows me to adjust as needed. They are soft & my staple during the “colder” months as doesn’t get too cold where I live. If I need to run errands, just throw on some nice pair of boots & length allows the pants to look like more than just sweatpants. I just wish had more colors such as Teal, lighter Green/Yellow, etc.
